hi

i am finally geting round to building my first WC build and here it is:

i am using the ocuk guide to help me through.

components:
CM 690III case
asrock Z97 extreme 7 mobo
intel core i5 4690k cpu
16 gig of 2400 mhz kingston beast ram
256 gig ultra m.2 ssd drive
dvd rw drive
seasonic 550 watt gold psu
geforce GTX 970 gpu
soundblaster HD titanium soundcard

WC kit:
OCUK value 240 mm watercooling starter kit.

first i took pictures of my kit and case with rad installed and rear fan.

i decided to push the air out the front of my case and bring cool air from the rear of the case.

well, i had the flow wrong to start with but easily corrected and running really well. noisey i must say, which is the pump, but loving it already!!

the loop is filled and running nicely. no leaks so far but i'll leave it 6-7 hours and check again.

will the tiny airbubbles go over time?

yes they will do not worry about them its the big one syou need to worry about if you get them, soem can be stubburn and you end up wieghtlifting your case and movign it all around the place.

As long as you the builder/payer/owner are happy it doesnt make a diff what other people think of your ysytem, build it as you want it.

nice work

cheers, the air bubbles are all gone now and the only thing i can hear - set my fans to silent mode in the bios, is the pump. its really loud.

things i learnt:

1) little more slack on the tubing
2) my case isn't the best for the reservoir, well, the one that came with the kit. doesn't fit properly and isn't flush:

maybe a bigger reservoir would be better or there are some fittings i can get that fit on the reservoir to push it forward??

now, i fancy some colour, is there good dies i can get?
