first build, more problems

hey guys, right im upto the point where i have to connect all the fans up that are in my NZXT Lexa case, but i cant see anywhere that tells you how to do it.

it looks like you plug it into the power and then link them all up as they have a male and female plug on each fan, although im probably wrong.

dont they have to connect to the mobo somehow?

Connect them to your PSU through the molex connection.

ok thanks but one last thing, how do i connect the fans to the mobo? all i can see is power connectors on the fans. thanks

There should be a small 3 pin connection coming from the fans also,they will only monitor the speed of your fan.

The fans may not have any to connect to the motherboard there powered from your PSU.

If the connector says fan only then yes

yea its called a psu fan monitor so it must be it, but i didnt think it was as i wouldnt have thought it would have to go through the psu, thanks for your help.

hmmm now i cant seem to find where to connect it to my mobo. i have the asus p5w dh deluxe mobo.

Your case has a fan control in the front yes?connect your fan control to the PSU then connect your fans to the fan control this controls your fans.

the case has nowhere to connect this fan control lead, it wouldnt go into the mobo into one of the power fan connections would it?

basically problem is i cant find anywhere to connect the fan monitor lead.
