Hi am wanting to build my own pc something that will last awhile but will run good I was looking at B550 tomahawk am4 atx msi because I was told it was future proof? Can someday tell me if thats true or not thanks and got any ideas for components so just need help putting things together as am unsure about the parts then picking the power banks for it any help at all would be great would like something half decent thanks.

I have been fightinging with the budget cause I don't want something that's poor about midranage so maybe £800-1200? What do you think?

I dont think you will see much sales in January and you wont be able to use the new ryzen CPU without any GPU. You may get some good deals on parts on black friday in a couple weeks.

How does this look;
My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £745.01 (includes shipping: £11.10)

Just add a case you like and a graphics card, something like a 5700xt with a nice discount would be good.
I could prob go a bit more since its getting spreaded out I got told to go for the ryzen 7 3700 I would like a wee bit of rgb just to add coolness but defo want a gold power supply so maybe £1000 or over that was the mother board I actually had in my basket tonight going to buy :D

Yeah that looks pretty cool I have a case I have a monitor and am going to order MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk (AMD AM4) B550 ATX Motherboard so I would like to spend at least £1000 just to have a good half decent PC I will post what I have in my basket and I hope people will give me comments on better ones I have chosen and stuff it would be very helpful.

What would the best cpu I play all different games and stuff I got told the ryzen 7 3700x is the way forward us to get the CPU cooler?

MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk (AMD AM4) B550 ATX Motherboard

WD Blue SN550 1TB NVME M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 Solid State Drive (WDS100T2B0C)

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Eight Core 4.4GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail

Seagate 2TB Barracuda 7200RPM 256MB Cache Internal Hard Drive (ST2000DM008)

I already got the motherboard last night I lockout theses parts anyone got suggestions?? And thought the ryzen 7 comes with a cpu cooler coukd that not save money plus its ment to be a good chip.
