First Build Next Gen GPU

Hi all,

just in the process of building my first build and finding this process fun/stressful but overall its a great experience. In the short term I am borrowing a friends old GPU until the new generation release. I am unsure what I should go for but any experienced techy's view would be highly appreciated. My options are either 5070 Ti or the 9070XT.

Nobody really knows until announcements on 7th Jan. Even then it will be best to wait for benchmarks. Also pricing will make a big difference - we don't know if the 9070xt competes with the 5070ti, if the 5070ti will be £1k and the 9070xt £500... Too many variables and zero concrete info to make any recommendations right now.
