Hey I'm tempted to build my new PC I'm getting soon, I'm gonna have a budget of around £1000 for the PC alone and I've already got a few parts in mind.

I want to get

An Intel i5 2500k SandyBridge processor
Nvidia GTX 580
8GB RAM
1tb HDD
A Case like an Antec 1200 v3
Samsung Blu Ray Drive

Can you guys pick me out a good motherboard, Power Supply and SSD, CPU Cooler and fans etc, and anything else worth putting down.

Am I right in that the Case I've picked already comes with a few fans?

Thanks I will be much appreciated.

I believe the 1200 will have 2 fans at the front, a big extractor fan on top and a smaller exast fan on the back too (educated guess from owning a 900)

A good motherboard is the Asrock Extreme4 Gen3 as it is compatilbe with the next gen of Intel processors (Ivy Bridge) and PCI-E 3.0 (new graphics cards will use this)

The SSD to get right now is the Crucial M4 either a 64gb for OS alone or 128GB if you plan on putting some games and applications on it. Once updated to 0009 firmware it gets reads of about 500mb/s and writes of around 200mb/s.

CPU cooler the most recommended just now will be one of the pre built water coolers like the OCUK liquid cooling unit (got to add a fan your self) or an air cooler like the Gelid Tranquillo.

gregry has covered most of it, psu wise something like the Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750W, unless you plan to get another 580 gtx then a 850w psu would be a safer bet.

anything in particular your looking for in a case, as you say "like" the antec 1200.

Cheers for the tips, yeh I think i'll go with the Antec 1200 as it looks pretty good, although the CM 690 II Nvidia edition looks pretty decent and its a lot cheaper too.
