I got 600quid

This is what I have chosen, I dont know much about hardware so any advice will be appreciated, anything that should be changed etc.

I am a college student, i wanna use the computer for mainly games and watching HD movies, i want to be able to play recent games on high settings at a decent frame rate, will this be possible with this system spec?.

I also have one question, I am looking at 24 inch monitors some say 'True HD' and some don't, what does True HD do;)?

Thanks guys

Im guessing youl need a disc drive too?

And i think that TrueHD screens put out the full 1080p when used with hdmi rather than a resolution, but i cant be sure ;)

what wattage do i actually need to run the components i have selected i.e the graphics card

is there a minimum req?

and i dont plan on overclocking, does it really matter what brand the psu is? will it affect the performance of the pc? thanks :P

is the ram I have chosen going to be much worse than say the corsair dominator ram??

well i would say something around 600w would be more than ample. but buying a better brand gives you assurance that its not going to die if something goes wrong.. its rare but some cheaper psu's die when put under strain and could take the motherboard out with it happend to a mates computer he was not happy when i told him his mobo was dead aswell lol. its worth investing in a decent psu for sure even if your paying more for less wattage your getting quality :)

have you already got a dvd drive ?

think "triple" channel will only work with i7 processors/mobos, take it you have 64 bit o/s to make use of the 6gb ?

yeah got a dvd drive already

im unsure as to whether to go for less memory but more expensive ram such as Dominator, or keep with the 6GB cheap ram?
