can i suggest you do some research on virus cheackers before you buy norton, mainly cause its crap. something like kaspersky or AVG are suppose to be much much better. Oh and norton interfers with everything

apart from that everything looks good

ohh and your missing a keyboard and monitor!!

Yeh Norton is rubbish, check out BitDefender. I would suggest you upgrade to 4GB ram aswell since its cheap, change vista to 64 bit. Also see if you can stretch to a P45 board.

Already got a Keyboard, and I can use my HDTV as a monitor due to it being 26"

EDIT:
Changed the Mobo, the RAM and the Anti-Virus to:
GeIL 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 800MHz Black Dragon DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
Asus P5Q Pro Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
BitDefender Antivirus 2008 - Retail
and changed the OS to 64bit

norton antivirus 360 come free with my laptop and to be honest i used to be like everyone else saying norton is rubish etc.

but the 360 (thin it is v2) was actually ok. does quite a lot in the background but still moderately light on memory, unlike the old versions.

But having said that i still uninstalled it and used a spare licence of AVG as it was even lighter.

some people have been having problems with the samsung writers, check out the optical drive forum
might want to swap it

Definitely get Vista 64, even if you only get 2gb of RAM (although I would def recommend getting 4gb). This will give you more flexibility in the future.

Will you be overclocking?
