First Build Trouble Shooting

Evening folks,

Just finished putting together a new build but having issues.

When booting i get the post beep but afterwards im just stuck on the boot screen. Pressing f12, del etc to get to boot options or bios doesnt work. After 10sec or so it beeps again like its resetting.

Been trying ram in diff spots and single sticks etc but no joy yet. Anyone able to help out?

The case fans are all plugged into a fan controller rather than the mobo, the cpu fan is plugged in and working. Removed anything extra so just sitting with cpu/heatsink, gpu and ram in at the mo

yeh i though that was the problem, went n bought a cheap wired one. Still no luck

all good, removed the gpu and got things moving

Could try with on board gpu maybe.

One of the reviwers here mentioned a hardware compatibility issue and had to update bios to F12, although how you do this is beyond me.

Is this with on board gpu, or the 670?

was freezing with the 670 installed. took it out, updated bios etc then put it back in.

Running happily now. Gonna give bf 3 a bash
