I am going to build a gaming rig in august and have been planning specs and looking around for the best products on the market. below is an image of what i am going to build. But will the PSU be able to cope with the components and not fry them? i think i have the best you can buy for my price range (£650.00) but if i can improve on anything please tell me.

thanks

Looks like a solid build however I would go for an i3 and a mild overclock as it perfom the same as the i5 650, the only difference between the two being the turbo boost on the i5.

This would free up £65 by going OEM i3 530

this would allow for a better cooler such as titan fenrir

and finally a better graphics card

I have the 700W version of that PSU and its great except for one thing. The cables that are hardwired in are rather short. I am not sure of the dimensions of that case but in my Lancool PC-K62 the 24pin mobo power only just reaches and I needed and extension for the 8 pin CPU power. Otherwise, it's a great choice!

same size as a Antec300, shouldn't be a issue

Ahhh o.k. I had the build in an Antec 300 not long ago and everything reached fine except I did have to have the 8pin CPU cable going over my graphics card (5850) as it wasn't long enough to go around it.

By the time August comes, your spec would be old/wrongly priced, so try to re-spec it closer to the time.

good idea thanks it amazing how prices differ so much over the course of a few months, at the moment i am just getting a rough idea but will stick with most of the components, maybe not the i5 though ;)
