First Build

So this is my first ever build, components:

Motherboard: MSI P67A GD65

Processor: i5 2500K

RAM: G.Skill RipjawX 4GB

PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 700Watt

HDD: WesternDigital Caviar Black 1TB

Disc Drive: Sony Optiarc

Cooling: Corsair H70

Graphics: MSI GeForce GTX460 Cyclone 1GB

What do you guys think of it? Also, I don't know what monitor to get and is the Corsair Vengeance better than the RipJawX?

that looks fine but,

the samsung F3 drive is cheaper and same speed.

Is SSD faster? Or what's the difference between SSD and a normal drive?

Few changes I would make;

Samsung F3 1TB

Antec TruePower New Modular 650W Power Supply

G.Skill RipJawX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Akasa AK-CCX-4002HP Venom CPU Cooler - Cheaper than the H70 and offers just as good cooling. Many report the H70 is quite loud and has a whining/high pitched sound.

SSD if budget allows for it.

As for what monitor? Whats your budget. Read a few threads in the monitors section. I upgraded from a 19" to a 24" and couldn't believe how good it was. Definately recommend a 24" to anyone.

Both are rated for Sandy Bridge and work 1.5v. The one you chose has slightly better timing but both will run at the 1600MHz no problem. Timing won't show any real world performance differences. Main one is price, however.
