greeting, Its my first time building a pc and I was wondering if anybody would be able to give some recommendations in terms of price and what Im looking for.

Im planning on using it primarily for gaming, the main parts Im primarily wanting are a i5 2500k and a gtx 560ti, would anybody be able to recommend some parts with that?

-My budget is a little bit above £700
-also I already have a case so no worries ;)

Completely open to any changes that would provide similar performance etc.
thanks a bundle in advance :)

Something like this, a little over budget but gives you WIFI on the motherboard. the 7850 beats the 560ti and you can OC the nuts off of it, also went for the latest gen I5.

If you don't need WIFI you can drop a few quid on the mobo.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Sapphire HD 7850 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £190.00
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £181.99
1 x Asus P8Z77-V Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £139.99
1 x Samsung 128GB SSD 830 Notebook/Apple Series SATA 6Gb/s KIT with Norton Ghost - (MZ-7PC128N/EU) £89.99

Total : £741.92 (includes shipping : £10.00).

I would get something similar to Gav_881's spec but get a Gigabyte motherboard such as the Gigabyte Z77X-D3H. I have this motherboard now and I can't fault anything about it.

I always favor Gigabyte mostly just because they have a UK RMA centre :)
