Hi All,

I will be using it for video editing and some gaming, any suggestions for improving performance or making some savings (or anything that is blatantly not going to work) would be most welcome . I'm already at the limit of my budget, so savings without compromising performance would be ideal.

Many thanks in advance.

From personal experience I'd advise against a wireless LAN adapter and go with some powerplugs instead for just a little more money. When I had a LAN card I was getting constant 1/2 bar connections and my internet was lagging out all of the time, and speedtests would only give me 5mbps when at the time we were on 30mpbs download. Might just be me though. Never had a problem with the plugs.

Thanks for all the advice. I think I am going to go for this:

It's around about what I had in mind budgetwise when I first looked at doing a build.

I don't plan on overclocking so no real need for the CPU cooler.

16GB of RAM would be great, but for the time being 8GB should be plenty and can I add more if I decide I need to.
