Hi, about to get my first build (had prebuilds before that) on a very small budget
All tips towards it will be helpful
Atx / matx tower

ASRock H410M-HDV R2.0 mATX Motherboard for Intel LGA1200 CPUs

I5 9400f hex core

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1050Ti D5 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

Corsair cv450 atx psu 450w

Ram - recommendations are welcome

Please note this is my 1st try and it might not make sense any help is welcome

Something likd this ,

CODE My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £666.23 (includes shipping: £12.30)

case you could choose which ever you like matx or atx will work with that motherboard. Storage 500gb but if you can stretch to 1gb mite be worth it if you have a lot of games. Memory 16gb of 3200mhz but you dont need 3200mhz up to 3000mhz is fine but it was on offer.

You'll be overpaying for a low-end graphics card but that's the situation we're in just now. Maybe you'll find a better card in the second-hand market (also terrible right now), or a friend who doesn't need one.

Yes I know and was also thinking if it would be worth ingesting something lime a 750ti and wait for the market to normalise and then getting 1050ti/1650??

I've seen some used GTX 1060 for £150 on Gumtree and that's what I'd go for (after contacting seller and obtaining some assurance/proof about the state of the card).

Also starting to think if it would be a good idea to get a prebuilt again and upgrade it with time I have found this online
I5 9400f 6core
Gtx1660 6gb
Adata 8gb x2 4gb 2666mhz
H310 Motherboard
500w bronze psu

Will it be any good for casual gaming
If yes what are the potential future upgrades?

Edit- comes to 634pounds with 240ssd and 1tb hd

Its not a bad price if you compare it to what you can build as shown above. If however you want to be able to do future upgrades why not build a new system around the intel 11400? Just use the built in graphics and not buy a gpu until you can get one at a reasonable deal. Obviously you will be limited in games until you get a good gpu but there are many older good games you could play. The other benefit is the older games will be cheaper to buy on sites like steam, so you can build a back library of games while you wait to get a gpu
This means the core of your system will be more future proof and last for more gpu upgrades
