Hi guys whats your experiance with relatively cheap to insure car that dont break a bank? It is for my daughter whos 17. I have a budget of of up to 6k for car and insurance for the firsf year. I was looking at older quirky cars that no many insure but the lowest inaurance quote was 2k for. It is hard as not every older car is suitable, poor breaks or steering - dont want my daughter to end up in a ditch... what are your recommendations for the first car with insurance for up to 6k? I found 318i e36 convertible which suprisenly was cheap for 3k car and 2.7k insurance. I can do a lot of work on the car if needed.
