Ive just started my first case project and its using an old 1986 Amstrad Screen. Ive stripped it all and put in the holes for psu and power cable although I asked my dad to cut the whole where i had shaded in and now have a bigger whole than i wanted to!

Ill include some photos, just want your tips on something like this?
The motrherboard will be 90 degree other way so the cables stick out the other end then I can put a cover on it. One of the cables from the psu is stupidly short and only just reaches when was in the normal case!

Nice to see an Amstrad reborn in one way or another :).

How do your PCI/PCI-e cards fit in and secure? I'm wanting to create a custome case but thats the only thing I wonder about in making one.

hey, Thanks, was first thing that came into my head when i saw it!
Well the Pci card simply has a 90 degree metal plate that it fixed to it and on the other side where its eventually going to be is a hole for the other bit to fix it in place. Only trouble is getting my hands in with this case but It can come apart but since its old annoing to put back together. Nice project for my first one though :)

There is madness, but also a sort of wonderful genius in your choice of case. Old Skool compys F.T.W. :D

Well a update on the case:

Got the extension cable so now its the right way. Now ive got to put a screen over the top.

Is there anyway of hiding cables better? lol
