Hi Guys

Looking to do my 1st loop, primarily to combat the noise from my 3080 which locks itself to a min 30% fan speed soon as any usage is put through.

I am looking at getting the DarkBase 900 and using a 420 rad in the front.Just wanted to check if below would be okay, or if there are any better recommendations. Specs are below for GPU and CPU

CPU: Intel i7-8086K (delidded 5ghz)
GPU: Palit 3080 Gaming Pro

Any help would be greatly appreciated

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £734.83 (includes shipping: £14.70)

wrong gpu block i think. According to EK, you need the Quantum Vector RE card as your Pailt GamingPro uses a reference board. The block in your list is explicitly and exclusively for the EVGA XC3 and will not fit on your card.

These ones will fit I think:

As for the rest, I'd advise getting a couple of male-to-male rotary connectors, one to go between the T and the pump outlet, one to go from the T to your ball valve.

I also think you only need 8 fittings but perhaps you're planning a drain pipe not just a drain fitting?

Ah thought id pressed the reference one, thanks for pointing that out. I had 10 as initially had another rad in but thought the 420mm would be sufficient for the time being.

Added 2 Rotaries as suggested.

Anything other recommendations?

ha, yes, it's about the RGB :D

Now with that case, if I'm reading it correctly, it's designed that you can have the motherboard facing to the left or right of the case meaning you could have the motherboard facing away from your wall if you wanted to. There is also a window that you can buy if you wanted. So basically that case could allow you to build with an inverted motherboard - cpu below the gpu - and then have a window if you wanted to see all your shiny internals

Yeah had been thinking about that :D

TBF only reason i went with corsairs Block and Res is i already have a 'corsairish' system so already have all the iCue software to control it and watch temps so thought id stick.

May have to look at getting the window version and inverting
