Im messing around with my e4300 and looking to clock it a bit higher. I havent really got the best OC system but it seems pretty cool atm so may as well try and push it further. Here is my current screenshot:
My rig is:
Sugo SG01-E
NT06 cooling E4300 with PSU above
Corsair 520HX
Asus P5K-VM
4x512 Geil ULL ram PC6400 4-4-4-12 (Think this may be the issue)
BFG 7600GT
3x Nexus 80mm fans
Im only at 47deg there after an hour so I think I can push it a bit further. I have tried 333 FSB (massive leap but hear this is possible) Gave up on this pretty quickly so then tried 300FSB with ram at 600 and also ram at 800
My volts atm are 1.25 and have gone all the way up to 1.4 on the CPU. Left the ram at auto atm but did try 1.9 and 2.0 with no success.
Any advice? Really want 3ghz but also want silence so may stick with what I have and tone down the fans (seeing as their position is on the other side of the cpu so probably dont have a big impact) depending on the improvement
