i am going to build my brother a pc for xmas i have £400 for the system can you guys help to spec me up the best bang for buck please.
it will be used for gaming and gerneral school work

i have already chosen to items

case: antec nine or three hundred
psu: coolermaster real pro or cosair

1: what do you guys think about my case choice which one should i go for? or is there a cheap case thats very easy to build in?

2: not sure about the p5k in the link would this be better Gigabyte+GA-EP31-DS3L iP31

just really need help with mobo and case chioce as there is so much choice and am not used to buying buget parts

The Antec 300 is a decent value case. I've just got one for a new build.

Get the 300 case and the 500 watt power supply is fine as long as a good make, DO NOT BUY CHEAP.

If you want to save some money try an AMD proccessor they tend to be cheaper, and i guess better for a budget build.
