Hi I'm hoping to build my first gaming pc. I want something I can upgrade on birthdays and Christmas. Any alternate suggestions would be great.

  1. MOBO. asrock-x570-phantom-gaming 4 AMD £152.39
  2. GPU. asus-radeon-rx-570-8gb-rog-strix-oc-gaming £144.98
  3. CPU. AMD-ryzen-3-3300x £119.99
  4. Case. msi-mag-forge-100m-black-mid-tower-w-tempered-glass-window-3x120mm-2xrgb-fans. £49.99
  5. Psu 550w-antec-ea550g-pro-80plus-gold-hybrid-modular-power-supply. £69.98
  6. RAM. 16gb-2x8gb-corsair-ddr4-vengeance-rgb-pro-white-pc4-25600-3200-non-ecc. £80.99
  7. Storage for os. 500gb-gigabyte-aorus-ssd-m2-2280-pcie-40-x4-nvme-ssd. £116.99
I will be also using a 2tb standard ssd. Approx cost £758.11, I don't want to go over that figure. But maybe next year change the course then maybe the gpu.

Any ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Get a cheaper b550 board
Don't really need a nvme ssd for os just use your 2tb ssd for everything
And with the extra money, have enough to get a rx5600xt/5700

Scrap that near double GB price PCIe v4 NVMe.
Theoretical speed shows only in benchmarketing, while space you don't have shows after installing couple big games.
£75 is max price for small half TB drive in that budget.

Whole NVMe doesn't really make much difference over SATA SSD in existing games and Windows loading time difference is even smaller:
