Hey All,

I want to build my first ever PC!

I will need

Operating System
CPU
Motherboard
Case
PSU
RAM
Keyboard & Mouse
Disc Drive
Hard Drive
Graphics Card

Think thats everything lol...

Anyway I play Runescape and want to be able play it in HD comfortably with minmal lag to no lag. I also want to be able to use the computer for browsing the web i.e. facebook etc. I also want to download torrents and also record in game videos (runescape) and edit them.

I don't really have a budget but I don't think I need to spend that much as I don't feel my needs are that demanding.

Lets say no more than £400 but throw anything at me. I look forward to seeing you guys ideas ! :)

Includes a great keyboard and mouse.

Llano CPU has a strong built in graphics core.

I could get those costs down to close under £400 if I choose slight cheaper
keyboard and mouse :P

I think the AMD build is looking the stronger candiate out of both of them :P

Also forgot to mention ill be using my televion as the monitor so the motherboard must have an HDMI output!

I was just asking because students can get software elsewhere allot cheaper :) To be honest you could probably get an Athlon Tricore build and save yourself like 50/60 pound but you'l take a large performance hit.

Go with Stulid if you want to max you're budget/performance.

Does that mean I can use my HDMI cable and plug it straight in?

I can't believe the value for money im getting on another computer part website I was getting pretty much the same thing but 8GB of ram but it was like £25 more expensive and I don't get a set of speakers!

Athold Tri Core if it'll save me money ill be happy but depends how much worse off it'll be compared to the Llano?..

Its good, you would need a decent graphics card such as a 5770 if you want a tri-core CPU.

The whole thing about Llano is that its built in GPU is better than the usual stuff

I assume the motherboard doesn't have built in wifi any suggestions?

What do you think its missing?

Why do you think a PC PSU has no cables? thats just LOL

It has,

M/B 20+4 Pin x 1
CPU 4+4 Pin x 1
4 Pin Peripheral x 3
SATA x 4
4 Pin Floppy x 1
6 Pin PCI-e Connector x 1

"It is okish good. It come in a very plane cardboard coolermaster box witch not pleasing but it is only 34.99. What was annoying was that mine came as grey so it didnt fit with my black case very well. You have to remember it does NOT come with a mains lead so you MUST buy one form somewhere else. I ould have given it a 3 but it deserves a 4 as it is stable and powers all my components well and it was also only 34.99."

Oh a kettle lead.

Well they cost £2 from anywhere on the net/high street.

Okay but apart from that everything comes with it? that'll I need?..

Heres the build i'll most likely order in tommrow or something when im 100% sure! (Y)
