Hi folks.I'v been reading the forum for a few weeks now, and I like how helpful and friendly place it is. I'm looking for a new system, pretty much for games.

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound (3.5g)
Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case
Enermax Infiniti 720W EIN720AWT ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU
Samsung SM-206BW 20" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Silver/Black
Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB)
BFG nForce 680 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
CellShock 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit
BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB ST3320620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM 112DBK 18x18 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter - (Black)
Tuniq Tower 120 CPU Cooler

How do you cut and paste good????????????? oh well.
A few things,
-memory i'm not sure about manufacturers?Whats best for my needs. Is it worth getting 4gig also?
btw i'm going to try overclocking the cpu as doesnt sound too hard.
-Reguarding the monitor,is it better getting the 22" even though the resolution is the same as the 20"?20" inch sounds like the quality will be better?
-Windows vista? 32bit or 64bit??????? aint got a scooby which one.

that spec comes to 1512. thats the budget give or take a little.
I understand some things are personal preferances but any thoughts welcome :)
Cheers

Spec looks OKish

2GB should be enough for now, i've got the 22" 226bw and it is amazing but not as sharp as the 20".

Might be worth getting the 64bit as you've got a 64-bit cpu.

cheers :) so think spec will be ok? no issues with compatibility or anything?
Heard issues with the case but i just like the look of it . easily impressed by lights

it should all work together nicely

the main issue is that it seems to collect dust as a hobby which is bad for a computer and overclocking as it causes dust to build very easily on fans and the like. Would go for what was suggested above instead of going for the 900.

i have a 900 for aircooling its great and mine isnt all that disty aslong as you wipe the front regulaly its fine... if you intend on watercooling ever get a diffrent case as its smaller than it looks... roll on my new case

You could probably cut the cost of the build without cutting the quality. Drop the mobo to an Asus 650 SLi, and the memory to the cheapest 6400. The Cellshock is very overclockable memory, but you won't need to clock the memory with that CPU and mobo.

2GB is fine at the moment. You need a 64bit OS to see more than 3.2GB of memory, and games just don't need that much memory at the moment.
