First ever build!!

Hi All,

After a lot of help and advice from many members of this forum, I've pulled the trigger and ordered the components for my first ever PC build
This will be used for gaming and photo editing, I am super excited to start the build. ill be VLOGGING the build for my YT channel. (Not sure if shameless plugging to a YT is allowed here?) I'll be keeping you all updated with progress, pics, and no doubt, some stress with my first build.

I managed to order it all just before the deals disappeared, so I got it all for much cheaper than the basket below. Just using the BB code to show you all what I went with. I also paid the extra to get it delivered tomorrow morning

He didn't pay these prices, he got the black friday prices, so i'm assuming was a bit cheaper than the Ti.

Very true indeed, I ordered it all today, whilst the deals were still on, but a few hours later i noticed they'd all disappeared. Was a close one!

Did you remember to buy a case?

Nope, I didn't need to. Its my Bday tomorrow and my mother offered to gift me the case. Went with the Obsidian 450D

Ah.... How do I upload an image? I have it on Imgur, the links don't seem to work? Or do I need to post more than 100 times or something? I can't find anything about it in the forums.

Its all arrived Except Windows 10. Cant wait to start building it! Forgot to order some LED lighting though

Guys,

Its all built and working but I have alreadyy hit a block.

Trying to install Windows 10, but it won't find the Samsung SSD i the installation. the SSD came with a CD, but I have no CD drive. where do I go form here?

I’ll be brutally honest...... I forgot to plug the SSD power in! Rookie mistake. All booted up and working beautifully. I’m on my mobile right now. I’ll upload pics shortly!

Latest update. Downloaded some games, played Witcher 3 on Ultimate settings at 1440p, and it runs as smooth as butter off a hot plate!

So far so good. Just loaded the utilities whilst playing Witcher 3 and the GPU hovers around 30-45 degrees and the CPU seems to be stable around the 25 degrees mark.

No the lens I ordered didn’t arrive in time. Still hasn’t arrived. Gutted

Yeah I’m gutted. Might take to all apart when it arrived and do it again haha. Won’t be the same though. Won’t catch me missing the power cable for the SSD. WHOOPS
