yea its a great feeling, i`m loving the feeling photography is giving me at the minute, a calm peacefull one.

Played around some more.
I know they're not up too much but I thought I'd show anyways.

One last one :)

Regards,
Ash

PS: I don't like the flash popup on the 350D. It hits me in the face and scares me a bit :(

DSLR's don't have a macro mode. The lenses have a minimum focusing distance.

So what's with the macro icon on the little wheel?

Oooops :(

Didn't relaise that Sorry. :(

I never use the modes. They don't change the way the lens works, they simply set features in the camera. So for the "Close-up Mode" it sets the one shot AF mode, single drive mode, [o] metering mode, auto ISO, and auto white balance. Basically, never use those modes. Av, Tv, M only or the camera will do what it thinks is best, which can often be wrong. Macro photography is dependant on the lens, not the body. Thats why you get dedicated macro lenses.

Nice first shots, as has been said, just keep the camera on macro mode. Keep up the good work :)

What? No. I just said to not use that. Av, Tv, or M or the camera will take control.
