Ive just come back from driving my sister to school and along the way back home had some obese woman in a fiesta decide to tail gate me with her full beams on (it was daylight) so I slowed down slightly to try and get her to back off. This just seemed to get her more anoyed and she started to flash constantly.
Just near my house at a roundabout she slams her horn on and pulls up beside me making all sorts of signs with her fingers and hands  screaming her head of before pulling away.

I wasnt driving stupidly and had done appsolutly nothing to cause this at all, anyone else ever had some idiot like this behind them and what would you do in that situation? Should i have been more alpha and followed her home and then stolen her wheels?

That made me lol..

But there are some tards on the road, you'll get it plenty more times in the coming years dude, just ignore it, you were driving porperly, the way I think of those situations is if you go into my arse, its your insurance not mine love.. Jog On :D

If you keep calm, then you win.

When I was a kid, me and my dad were out driving, and he just changed lanes at the lights. The guy behind him tried the same thing a fraction later and hadn't noticed my dad there, and had to slam on the breaks. He got out of his car and came out shouting and screaming at us. My dad very calmly put the window up and ignored him.

Only chav scum scream and shout at people in the traffic.

Should have just laughed at her. Nothing more irritating than someone laughing at you when you are ****** off.

Unless you posted this thread one handed, with your other hand swinging this silly wench by the trouser fuzz - I'm afraid to tell you you've failed this morning's challenge.

Could be worse. I was on a road with 2 lanes and it was murging into one lane.. So murging in turn with me in the left lane this plumbers van was almost touching the bumper of the car in front (in the lane to my right) to try and jump in. So I didnt let him so he went balistic beeping, waving his hands, beeping his horn, I just ignored which was fine till the stream of traffic stopped at a set of traffic lights half a mile on. He actually got out and started walking towards my car. He was about twice the size of me so I kinda locked the door. Luckily the lights had gone green and I pulled away just as he was reaching for my door handle. He ran back to his van and persued me. Luckily his rubish little van was no match for my mighty 1.2 punto and I lost him :)

LOL nice solaris.

What I tend to do is to either smile and wave at them or blow them a kiss (just make sure the lights are gonna change soon) both of them work a treat :D

But he was big and had tatoo's and all I wanted to do was get wo work. Thing is he was utterly in the wrong but if I was in the same situation again I'd probably let him push in to avoid a conflict.

3 lanes roundabout - 2 lanes go straight onto the A34 and the far right lane takes you round to the next exit. I am in the middle lane to go on the A34 (faster lane) to avoid lorries.

The lights go green and we are going as normal when this car on my right starts indicating left, despite being along side me. Obviously I can't do anything as we are doing about 30 ish and about to join the A34 and if I brake I cause a problem to all the drivers behind me. I toot my horn to make him aware of his error and my presence.

I carry on calmly as normal and he somehow dives in behind me. He then holds his horn down and leaves his full beam on - blinding me... and driving dangerously close... I just put my hand up in the air and shrugged to say what did I do wrong?!

Combat them with your rear fogs :D

Does that work...I tried it once with a guy driving behind me for miles on the motorway with his full beams on... in the end I pulled left a lane and let him pass then did the same to him for a few seconds till he realised his mistake.

I think that is the worst thing on the roads, abnoxious drivers who are unaware of their mistakes such as leaving full beams on blinding everything in sight. What CAN you do to stop them? I usually pretend to fiddle with my rear view mirror. :o:(

Laugh at them is what I do. Then you can almost see steam rising off them as they get even more livid. Very satisfying.

Normally most people get the messege that you are dazzling you if you shove your rear fog on for a minute..if you are being dazzled your mirror should have a little flick switch underneath, pull it toward you and it will switch to anti-dazzle :)

I usually put on anti dazzle. But might try the fog light treatment at some point lol :p

I had one last night behind me and on my bumper with full beams!

A whacked on the fog light and hey presto, wound him up a treat,
he backed off then started shacking his head at the traffic lights beside me.

I normally give them a little brake test in the dry :D

Rushing to McDonalds tbh

I had a near miss the other week. Coming down the A52 from Ashbourne towards Derby there was some sort of people carrier behind. The driver was hooked onto my bumper for about a mile in a 40 zone. I'm doing about 43ish so not going too slow. He waits till the road narrows then overtakes only to be met with a central barrier (one of those plastic boxes with an arrow) so he decides to pull in even though he's not passed me yet. I saw this coming so hit the brakes a second before he pulled in. I@m sure he must have taken a few microns of paint off my bumper as he was that close. Anyway, he then gives me the 'W' sign and starts shouting abuse at me. So the idiot tailgates me for over a mile, overtakes on double white lines and nearly causes a serious accident. I bet he went home and told his family/mates that he's just had a run in with a bad driver!
