Hello
I've just started my first full PC build and assembled the following outside of the case, wanted to check before installing / cabling.
CPU and cooler attached to mobo
RAM installed
Large and small PSU cables to the mobo plugged in
Buzzer / speaker plugged in
Monitor attached
** no HDD, optical, mouse or keyboard attached **
I've powered on by bridging the power connector pins.
I get a single short POST beep.
The monitor very briefly shows what looks to be a splash screen for probably just half a second. I then get the message "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"
Does this all look like I'm doing good up to now and can progress with installing in my case?
Thanks for your time.
Mike
