Hello everyone,

This is my first post here so I hope I don't break any rules and am posting in the correct please.

This build here is the first one I've done in about 4 years, I'll be taking the PSU from my old PC into the new one (it was the most recent part and very capable of running this at 800W I hope?). My problem is its been a very long time since I've done a build and I'm not sure if my research is solid enough to make sure everything works together and will do what i'm hoping it will do. I need this machine to...

1). Run the following games at decent settings at 1080, League of legends, Overwatch, Elder scrolls online, Fallout 4, Witcher 3.

2). Be capable of being upgraded in the future for VR (most likely just a 1070 upgrade?).

3). do some SMALL video editing as a hobby.

4). Last me a year or so before needing huge upgrades through overclocking.

Any issues here or things that I need to change to be better? any help is appreciated. Thanks for the time in reading and responding to my post!

Edit : Sorry I forgot to add this build cant be purchased all at once, my budget allows me to buy all of this over the next four months, completing around Christmas time, the GPU will go in my current machine for now just to tie 'over' my overwatch addiction so I can play it at a respectable FPS. Other parts will be ordered and boxed up hidden away until build day. Currently looking for a case and PSU to add the original post unless there are any recommendations.

Hi I have not chosen on a case yet. I failed to put in my first post that I cant get all of this at once and will be purchased over the next few months leading up to Christmas. My current build holds up ok but struggles with the games I enjoy and fancied doing a new build so my partner can use this one (I guess i'll need a new PSU as well then bugger). I'll do a quick check for a case and PSU I think may work and add that in to my top post :).

Ace I really like the case and black fan. To be honest I don't even use a CD drive now and have not for about 10 years, I only added it for the sake of installing windows but I can USB install perhaps? I'll turn my PC off in a bit and open the case to find out about the PSU. I want to say I remember my friend helped me purchase it saying it'd be safe for my next build 2 years ago being a 900-1000w PSU but I don't want to risk it so should check but remember it costing around £110 (I know probably way overkill on my old rig). So right now i'm sitting on this...
