Hi everybody this is my first post on this forum so sorry that it is asking for help and just shout if anything is wrong with it.

I currently have an old mac and its USELESS so i wanna get a gaming system that i can use for topish end gaming.

i have looked around and come up with this setup:

I have a budget of around £700 but that is for EVERYTHING. including a new mouse/keyboard and an internet security system and all the cables i need.

If you can recommend anything to downgrade/upgrade or just generally change i would be forever grateful.

dont bother with internet security, jsut download a free trial then get one when that finishes, that way it gives u another month to get some money to buy it and you can use the extra money to get a better system in the first place.


if you dont need a monitor, then stulid spec is pretty decent. If you did, u could try getting the trial of Windows 7 then by it later on if you think you can save the extra money by then.

also, did you need wireless ? ie how do you connect to the internet, how far is the modem/router from where ur pc will go, etc ?
