I play CSGO and have finally decided I need a headset. I have no idea when it comes to gaming headsets.

I own a pair of Sony MDR-V6's for music but it has no mic. I would like to get a headset that has a mic built in.

I only really know of the Steelseries siberia V2's since quite a few pros use them, but is there anything better? Not neccessarily in terms of sound quality (I have the V6's for that), but in terms of mic and build quality.

I'm only looking to spend £50 since I will only use them for one game really, anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

The hyper x cloud headsets are very highly sort after among gamers and highly reviewed. I had qpad 90 headset which I think is essentially the same as the first cloud headset with hyperx one having minor improvements? My qpad cost me 90quid at the time. So these are deffo worth the price. One thing to mention is that the cloud two won't use a sound card as it uses its own Audio processor DAC via USB so it bypasses your sound card to use onboard audio which may be worth noting. If you only have onboard audio then the cloud 2 will be a awesome choice!

I had previously seen the Hyperx cloud series, but people tend to say that in CSGO it is very hard to hear footsteps etc with them on (without a soundcard). As of now I don't have a soundcard, and it seems like for the cloud to be worth it I need one, which means more money...

Time to invest in a soundcard probably
