looking to replace my 34" dell with something more suitable for gaming. ideally need to use it for work too so the 3440x1440 resolution or better is a bonus. Not sure I'd want a larger monitor than this as it'll probably be a disadvantage with games due to not having everything in the center or am I wrong here?

I've only really found https://www.overclockers.co.uk/lg-3...-led-curved-backlit-gaming-mon-mo-15l-lg.html but it's out of stock atm. Also considering getting a smaller monitor just for gaming (e.g. AW2521HFA) that's sat on the floor when not used and keep the current one for work although not sure how well that'd actually work. Are there any monitors I should avoid/look at instead of the LG?

thanks, I've had a look at the 32" monitors but all for some reason have the 2560x1440 resolution which IMO is more suited for a 27". Also if this would replace my current 34" it'd be a downgrade in terms of resolution, size & panel. Using it just for gaming, it might be a bit big to sit on the floor/pc case while not in use

thanks, this seems like a bit of a downgrade from an IPS panel of my current dell to VA?
