Hi,
I'm buying my first gaming PC. The most recent game I'd be looking to play on it is Civilization 6 and Cities Skylines. I'm assuming that a computer that can play Civilization 6 will be able to play Cities Skylines. I'm not confident enough to build my own so I've been looking at pre-builts.
I was looking at Dell Inspiron 5675, which has:
  • AMD Ryzen 3 1200 Processor
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 560
Or the PC Specialist Vortex Core Lite, which has:
  • AMD FX-4300 Processor
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
I've found the list of recommended requirements (graphics: AMD 7970 or Nvidia 770 or greater, processor: Fourth generation Intel Core i5 2.5 Ghz or AMD FX8350 4.0 Ghz or greater) but I don't know actually know whether both will be able to run it. The only website I've found that can check it requires you to already own the computer you're checking (systemsrequirementslab.com), which I don't.
I would also be doing some video editing and Photoshop but I was hoping that either of these computer will be able to handle that.
Does anyone know if either of them will be able to play Civilization 6? Or have any advice or recommendations?
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

First of all, avoid the FX-4300. The Ryzen 3 1200 would be the better (and newer) choice for processor.

Second, what's your max budget? And do you need Windows, monitor/other peripherals?

Okay. My max budget is around £750. I already have a monitor and windows is included. I have some other money set aside for other peripherals.
I have found another computer that fits my budget and has an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Processor and an AMD Radeon RX-480. I'm assuming this is the better computer?

16gb ram.. if you really like city skylines, want to run all the DLC as well as mods alone with running the games full 16 tiles or the mod unlock all tiles :D
Really?! But then again, I've never played it with that many tiles! I don't have much of the DLC though.

Jump on the black Friday sales and grab the 16GB if you can !

480 isn't bad, if you can get 580 for same price then do it !

If you can also afford Ryzen 1400 over the 1200 then great

Impossible to say without knowing the full list of parts. But the processor and video card are better than the others you mentioned.
