Well im not sure if im in the right place, it seems the most suitable. So i have decided finally to build my own computer, as my mom offered to buy me a macbook pro if i ace my exams, which im sure i did and if i did not she'll still buy me it with enough pushing, lol. So instead of "overpaying" I decided to build my own gaming pc as it would help my understand and knowledge of computer's, I also love gaming on my pc so i would like it to run at medium - high settings for games like battlefield and assassins creed, I would like a suggestion from the members of this forum on what i should buy, I mean everything apart from a mouse, keyboard and windows, as i already have them. I have a budget of around £650 maybe £700 ( $1000-1100 ) if i believe it is worth it. Let me know what you guys think, the most helpful answers would be ones that has been made using pcparts as I have used the site a couple times for other reasons when dealing with monitors and find it easy to use. Im an extreme gamer but novice when it comes to building and changing pc specs, I know the basic parts needed for a computer so if there is any optional but recommended parts please let me know and add it to the list. My second question is that with my budget $1100 max, how well do you think the performance of a gaming computer could be? Thanks

Id go with Stulid's build @ Mosawar because it will be the best for you in the long run!

Whilst a good build it has no monitor, something the OP requires.

Oh okay, would it be better than "dacads" build? Performance and gaming wise?
How long would this run for around 2-3 years with minimal hiccups still running games at decent settings?

No monitor dude, so fairly irrelevant

Yes it is better and will last longer as Z97 supports the next gen CPU's called Broadwell.

Im currently using a GTX760 and playing BF4, plays it at 1080P at high/ultra settings easily.

As good as that is, i have just realized there is no monitor, oops. My bad
could you cut down on anything and replace in a decent monitor? Not to ruin performance by much the monitor just needs to have high resolution and decent size, ill go up to £750 in total
