Hi i'm wanting to build a new PC which i'll use only for gaming and that's it. However i'd like to build my PC rather than buy a fancy new already built gaming PC. So what components or bundle would i buy. Furthermore is it fairly straight forward for a beginner to build a PC also my overall budget is roughly up to £400-£450 more round the £400 mark. Any help would do thanks. :)

Thanks for replying back.

Well first of all thanks for replying and giving me ideas on what to get and yes if possible i would like the mouse, operating software etc to be included in the budget as it's my first computer and don't want to dive straight into the deep end. Also i don't want un-needed extras which may seem good however i won't need or use. But overall thanks guys i'll take a look and decide when i can :) sorry for not replying straight away as i have been busy.

Thanks again.

Ok i only put my budget to £450 max is cause well my friend was telling me about this website and he said he got his PC for £370 minus the keyboard, screen, mouse, speakers etc. He had i3's on his. Would it be possible rather than Pentiums to get better processors, and scrap the extras like screen, mouse, keyboard etc. However i will still need the OS (Windows 7 preferably) Plus i also said £450 max is cause i want spare money for screen, keyboard, mouse etc... Sorry for such a hassle guys it's just this is all new to me and trying to come to terms with it all. A new learning curve. :) If you think i need to rethink everything please don't hesitate and tell me if i might need to alter my needs/wants. Once again Thanks.

Another Try.

Ok for once i actually tried to find my own PC set up, however i think i may buy an overclocked bundle rather than buying the processors, memory, cooler and motherboard buy themselves. (Yes i broke out my budget haha) However do i chose the Krypton Z68 600i Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30GHz @ 4.60GHz DDR3 Overclocked Bundle or the Radon 690a AMD Bulldozer FX-4 4100 3.60GHz @ 4.00GHz DDR3 Overclocked Bundle. I know that many people would chose Intel over AMD however i currently have AMD Processors i think they're pretty good and reliable. Also i put somethings together of my own. If i buy one of those bundles should i get these to build the computer with. Here's my list, didn't know how to import the basket so i'll put down with names.

1:Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM (GFC-02050)
2:Aerocool Strike-X 500W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
3:Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM (WD5000AAKX)
4:BitFenix Merc Alpha Gaming Case - Black
5:Samsung SH-118AB/BEBE SATA 18x DVD-ROM (Black) - OEM
Thanks once again and sorry for the hassle people ;)

Oh yes also, graphic cards, not very good with knowing which to add so suggestions please, also sound cards.
And if you think i should just buy an already built pc and maybe add things/upgrade it rather than building one, would this be sufficient for good gaming use and good running speed. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-315-OE&groupid=43&catid=2385&subcat=2418

Sorry for asking more questions just making sure i get everything right. :)
