Hi there,

I am looking to buy my son a gaming pc and I have been offered the following spec for £400

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7ghz CPU, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card, 16gb RAM Corsair Vengance and 480GB M.2 SSD

Can anyone tell me if this is a decent price for the money?

We already have a monitor.

Thank you

Is building your own an option? The 2070 goes for about £150 second hand, the CPU about £50 so the rest of the rig is costing you £200, you could potentially build for the same total cost but maybe get to choose your parts.

My knowledge is limited in this area and just want to get the best deal for his birthday money!
