Hey I'm looking at getting my first gaming pc, I'd use it mainly for games which I'd quite like to have at as high graphics as possible. If possible I want it to be able to last a few years playing games at high graphics without the need for an upgrade. My main game types are RPG's and minecraft :)
After finding this website I played around and have come up with a modified "Titan 445i Scythe" with these specs:
"Titan 445i Scythe" Intel Core i5 4670K @ 4.4GHz Overclocked Haswell Quad Core Gaming PC -£470.98
Options applied to the above product:
24 MONTH WARRANTY - COLLECT & RETURN -£0.01
Corsair Carbide 500R Midi Tower Case - Black/White -£99.95
Geforce GTX 770 EX OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card -£329.99
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit -£83.99
Standard Build Systems - Approximately 5-7 working days -£0.00
Samsung 120GB SSD 840 SATA 6Gb/s Basic -£83.99
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache HDD -£79.99
No Sound Card Upgrade £0.00
Sub Total : £957.41 Shipping : £18.50
VAT is being charged at 20.00% VAT : £195.18
Total : £1,171.09
Any advice on whether this would be suitable and whether there's anything I should change for better performance or anything I don't need to save money would be appreciated! thanks!:)
