Hey
Heard about this place from a friend and thought id register and get some assistance :).

This will be my first gaming pc and im totally lost on what to get, I have a budget of £1000 in mind, this does not cover an OS as being a student i can get my hands on a 64bit OS. it would be great if the budget would cover a monitor also but im not overly fussed on that part.

I would like to build it myself although i have no experience in building PC's i have a few friends that do :)

Note: it may take me a month or two to save up the funds.

Thanks for such a quick response time :)
They both look great! Im guessing if i opt for the i7 i wont have to upgrade the CPU for a long while? plus i love the look of that second case!

That other motherboard does look nicer and with a free upgrade...very tempting.
Is there much difference between the MSI and KFA2 card? apart from one says its silent?
Also whats an external drive bay? is it for disk drives such as cd roms?
sorry for all the questions! very new at this.

The MSI runs passive at Idle, so is silent and also under load, its also cheaper.

The KFA2 gives free delivery it seems, plus "coil whine" technology to reduce this (i.e it has some gunk on the coils to keep them in place and stop them moving).

External bays is for DVD drives or some fan controller etc, the case has all the internal 3.5+2.5" bays you need.
