First Gaming PC

The time has finally come for me to build my first gaming pc. I have been researching parts but have very limited knowledge so could use some advice.
I have a budget of £500-£800(excluding monitors, keyboard, mouse etc.) but could stretch it a bit if necessary.
I like the look of the Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor but i'm not sure if it is the best to use.
I would also like to use a GeForce GTX as i have a nvidia shield tablet that i would like to be able to stream games to.

Any advice on any parts is greatly appreciated.
