Hi, I'm looking to build my first gaming setup after many years of wanting to do so. I have a few bits that were bought for me as gifts a couple years back and have been looking at the remaining parts that I need.

Just looking for some advice on whether I'm making any mistakes with anything below or if I can get anything better for cheaper.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor £136
Motherboard:
Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2 ATX AM4 Motherboard £156
Memory:
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory (Have already)
Storage: Western Digital Black SN770 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive £70
Video Card:
PowerColor Red Devil OC Radeon RX 6750 XT 12 GB Video Card £460
Case:
Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower Case (Have already)
Power Supply: Corsair RM750x (2018) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (Have already)

Thanks in advance!

Alex

Thanks all for the advice!

Out of interest how much of a difference would upgrading the CPU to a 5700x or 5800x have on the performance of the system. I tend to play strategy's (Total War) and RPG's, would the added expense be worth it in the long run?
