First gig shoot, You remind me of rasputin!

Got asked to have a shot at taking some photos by a group called You Remind Me Of Rasputin! Through myspace suprisingly enough, dont think i did too bad for my first attempt, just a bit miffed with the noise levels. It should be expected though, ISO3200 all the way! The lighting was the worst lighting i've ever seen at a gig, ever. It was at the Retro Bar in Manchester if anyone is interested.

Used a mix of all my lenses, the exif should be embedded in the files

Some shots were with my Tamron 17-55 F/2.8, some were with the 50mm F/1.8 and some were with my 70-200 L!

Looks like you have problems with #11. There's signs of that icky banding you get when settings are wrong.

I like some of them and dislike some of them. I think it would be good to clone out the spots on the portrait shots as they just aren't attractive in a photo...

Aye, i get that banding in a lot of my high ISO images, no idea why :\

Noticed it since i got the 20D, it's second hand from a member on here. Never had the banding problem with my 350D, so i have no idea what it is. I imagine its some sort of sensor defect

Wasn't using flash in most of them

It's more present in the photos that there was no flash, and when flash was being used it was on a 430EX not the internal flash.

that lighting is fantastic compared to the last gig i did, which was just one single dimmed bulb, i still made do tho, Clicky

good pic's. i went to watch Bromhead's Jacket tonight and took some pictures with my camera phone 3.2 megapixel camera. may upload some pic's later depending on how good they were
