I am looking at getting my first home cinema setup, which would be mainly for Movies and gaming and I need some advice.

I have ordered a Denon X1800H and would like to get two front speakers, a centre and a subwooover the budget is around 1000.

For the SUB, I was looking at BK P12-300SB-FF, BK XXLS400-FF or SBS SB-1000 Classic

For the fronts I am considering the Diamond 12.2i and Diamond 12.CI.

I would be grateful if anyone could advise me on what would be best or if there are any better alteratives than these.

Thank you

That's decent build don't forget speaker cable, would recommend 2.5mm 3 OFC, reel probably £30 for 30M or something like that. Also need speaker stands, would recommend banana plugs on speaker & amplifier side. Also any HDMI or RCA cables if needed.

Haven't heard those Wharedale

As for the sub those should be fine for about 5m x 5m room, anything bigger probably duals or a single higher end one is probably needed

Best to have a demo of those speakers and so many brands and sound signanture, also AVR and room EQ makes a difference, try with room EQ on and off, as you want to enjoy the sound with EQ off, if it's good with no EQ then EQ needs to do less, and EQ isn't a fix to a speaker you don't like
