Hello Overclockers UK, first post here, i've been a lurker for a while and decided to finally sign up!
Anyway, i've always been a Laptop man in the past, but i decided now enough is enough, and purchased the components to build my first ever HTPC!
Components:
Motherboard: Asus P8P67
CPU: Intel i5 2500K 3.3 GHz Quad
Memory: Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz
GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr
Stock cooler for now! i will be buying the Antec KUHLER H2O 620 CPU Liquid Cooler.
Haupage Freeview TV card
Hard drives:
OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB SSD
1TB Seagate - Media/Games/Files
500GB 2.5 HDD
640GB 2.5 HDD
Case: Antec Fusion Remote Max
Manual 84" Optoma pull down screen
Optoma HD67N 3D HD Projector.
5.1 Surround system
My PSU hasn't got very long cables so the one stretching over the GPU is annoying.
Some pics aren't very good quality using a crappy camera phone, also light coming through the blinds doesn't help with the projector!
Also got these Chinese copy of the "nvidia 3d vision kit" they work exactly the same as the nvidia version just a lot cheaper! the emitter even registers as an nvidia emitter, they must have reversed engineered it.
