looking to ensure a peugeot 206 1.4 Verve model car, 3 door hatchback and a 1360cc engine size. It's my first car and i'm 20 years old.

Was just wondering who would be best to go with for it, I checked confused.com and a company called quinn direct came back with the cheapest quote of just over £1100 for fully comp insurance but dunno what their reps like.

If fully comp insurance is at a reasonable price i'd prefer it otherwise third party fire and theft would probably be fine.

cheers.

Tesco were great for me, good few hundred less than the others that I looked at.
Obviously all going to be different for different people of course :)

To be honest mate the only way you're going to get the best quote is to ring round as many different people as possible. For instance Greenlight were FANTASTIC for me and I'm 21 :)

Edit - DAMNIT I'm lying, I'm actually 22, feel old now :(

With elephant, diamond and admiral adding an older female to your named drivers (eg your mum) reduces you quote massively - at 22 (just pased) I got 775 a year this way.

I just did a quote for myself on elephant putting my mum down as a named driver and it dropped my quote by over £100.....I didnt know about that. Cheers hogfather!!! That was for a Leon Cupra R, 23 2 years ncb, £681 fully comp....Im well impressed with that.
Im with Tesco at the moment, but considering losing the current years ncb with them as my elephant quote is almost £300 cheaper.

I reckon you should check out Tesco, elephant and admiral first of all.

tbh, fortis for your first years
I've just renewed my insurance with them, 1 years no claimes now, Corsa 1.2, 1996, £325
not bad in my books, was online via some co called 18-21 or somthing, they only do younger drivers
