First Intel build.

Hi all, was thinking of up-grading my wife's pc to my first Intel build, I would like it on par with mine.
My set up is
AMD Phenom II 955 (clocked to 3600GHz), Asus M4A79XTD Evo, Zalman cpu cooler, G Skill Ripjaw 4GB 2X2 DDR3 1600MHZ 9.9.9.2.4 ocz ModXstream Pro 600w psu

I have built many AMD systems, but don't know where to start with an Intel, I would like to clock it to around the 4GHz range if poss, and would like to use DDR3 memory and a Corsair H50-1 cooler.
My main concern is what cpu, motherboard and memory to get and what would all run well together overclocked...Budget around £500 mark not inc parts I want to keep.

Other parts in my wife's pc what I would like to use are:
Samsung spinpoint F3 1TB
Antec 902 Nine hundred case
Antec Truepower 550w psu
Geforce 8800GTX
