First LCD TV - 26LX2R - Few Q's before i buy.

Right, so i've settled on this beast of an LCD TV the 26LX2R. I'm going to be using it for HD movies from my HTPC, and general TV usage. I plan to hang it on a stud wall, this is where i need help. In all the pictures i've seen i see it with a stand, am i able to take this off, and can i buy a wall mounting kit for it, and will this be suitable for a stud wall? VESA is the standard isn't it, because i can't seem to see anything on the LG website about VESA compatibility.

Cheers Gordy, i thought as much just didnt wanna gamble £600 on them probably being there :D

So i just unclip the base and hang it with a VESA mount then i suppose? (First LCD TV =/)
