Hi All,

Just thought I would show you my new build ( and first ever build log on these forums)

Specs are:

Asrock Z77 E M-ITX Motherboard
16GB Corsair DDR3
Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz processor
256GM Crucial M4
2TB WD Green
ATI Radeon 7950 3072MB Graphics card

I like the case, but knew that the size would make life...interesting. I haven't been able to find an alternate cooler that will fit without impeding the PCI slot, so the stock one will have to do for now, and cable management was...challenging!

Anyhow on with the show :)

I hope you enjoyed it, I can provide more information and photos if needed!

Thanks for reading.

Nice build. How much the ram and mobo set you back? Cant you use a H60 or something? I have a similar case and thats what i use.

Its practically silent, you can buy a fan controller for it, that allows you to slow the fans down. If you are doing general things with generic background noise, you can't hear it at all.

I have uploaded a video with no background noise, I apologise if the quality is not great, never recorded anything with my iPhone before.

I can hear the hum of the fan, but that's only because its so close to me as the photos show. I wouldn't see any issues with changing the top fan, as this is the one that I can hear when there is no background noise.

If I had the TV on, I wouldn't hear it. So its not an issue.

Yea, I think you could probably get away with something a bit more powerful, however, I wouldn't want to try overclocking with the stock cooler.

Remember that this case can only take coolers up to 60mm in height as the power supply sits above the motherboard. I did order an alternate cooler, but I am in the process of returning it, as it obstructed the PCI slot.

I haven't found one that doesn't do this, and I wanted a graphics card for when I do gaming, encoding and various other bits and bobs that requires a bit more grunt.

Please see the video below.

Motherboard was bought from here for £120, RAM from here also was £90

So £210 all in.

I don't think it would fit, as there wouldn't be enough room to route the tubing, and would require the removal of the top 140mm fan as well. :(

I literately just finished putting a H50 in mine which is same layout and width as your case. The H50 has the old style pump which is taller than say a H60 and it still fits so the newer style will be totally fine. Only problem is Rad placement as i only run an SSD i removed the hot swap bay and mounted it to the rear of the front 140mm fan.

Ah ok, well I have a 2TB disk in mine as well, so not sure how this would impede the fitting of mine. I also don't think I would be brave enough to attempt to fit it, lol!!

Something about water and computing just screams 'STOP you fool!' inside my head! :D
