I'm really intrested in getting into water cooling my rig starting with my CPU then onto my gpu later (restrained to CPU for now due to my case shinobi not xl) my current spec of my rig is i5 [email protected],7950wf3
Are there many benefits to going watercooled? What's the longetivity of the parts? What to avoid (makes,connectors,material used,coolant) what's good to use.
I've been watching vids on how to build loops and so on so know a little but you know a little but of info is dangerous! Lol
Do I need to change case or? I don't want to buy stuff that won't work in a CPU and gpu setup as this is the way I want to go.
So been looking into watercooling and got some parts I have my eye on (now purchased )and was wondering if u guys could tell me what they are like all second hand)

Ek compression fittings id 7/16 od 5/8 6 fittings is that enough?
all to fit into a shinobi windowed case
Also any tips when installing? What coolant's do u guys use? I can get my hands on unlimited supply of deminarilised water is this okay to use? Do I need any additives to stop corrosion,lube the pump?
