First mouse benchmark results.

facinating stuff - totally kills my wish for the HABU tho' and for any laser type mouse tbh.

amazing that the MX500 still does so well and shows how good a mouse it actually is.

I am pleased that the diamondback isn't too far off the top :D

poor old microsoft - bottom again - lol.

pfft! look where the HABU comes! oh well im happy with it

end of the day it's about how the mouse feels to you and if it does the job you want.

I tried both the MX500 and 510 and found neither to be comfy in my paw.

I am tempted by the HABU shape more than performance but am put off by the low scores that laser type mice have earned.

this for me was a bit of nail:
...clamped firmly in contact with the mousepad as the laser sensor stops functioning as soon as you lift the mouse from the surface

the forthcoming Razer DeathAdder sounds intriguing and looks to be razer own answer to the right handed ergonomic mouse.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed with the HABU scores, I sold my Diamondback to my cousin..Though I still prefer the HABU, shape and side buttons a lot more comfy.. TBH, how many gamers can push the mouse that far where it will malfunction or beyond perfect control?

Did you get the HABU 2.01 firmware installed?..Mission getting it flashed to the new firmware from the Copperhead ones I was using..

Watch the video of the guy playing? Only FPS games like Quake and UT need movements like that..And only at the top pro level too...

Low friction sleeve.. Overkill for the average gamer, but hey, if thats how u earn your living...

That was great thanks, I've got an mx510, so I am assuming that it will be as good if not better than the score for the mx500. Glad to own this mouse as I am a low sense player, and it works wonders with my Everglide DKT :D

you have to ask is laser really the way forward with optical mice?
considering that one of the oldest mice available got the best result.

also razer next seller will not be a laser:

Powered by Razer Precision™, the new 3G infrared sensor on the Razer DeathAdder lets you move 2.25 times faster when compared to a standard 800 dpi optical sensor.
