So I have been following this very helpful user guide for overclocking my GPUs and have got a bit stuck...
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18431335
I have 2 7770s in Crossfire and got a modest stable overclock out of them testing in Heaven benchmark. When I try and play The Witcher 2 the game crashes seconds in, either freezing or going to a black screen forcing a hard reset. I've been lowering the clocks and retrying in game but it keeps happening, I thought the benchmark was supposed to be testing the setup more than games, but maybe I'm wrong?
The rest of the system is
i5-4670
H60
MSI Z87-G43
G-Skill 8GB 2133Mhz
Corsair HX750
Is there a better stability test I should be using?
Edit: Now The Witcher crashes at stock clocks too ...
That's a bit strange. Restarted the PC, loaded afterburner but didn't load any profile or change any settings and it crashed. Hasn't done that in the past.
