So I have been following this very helpful user guide for overclocking my GPUs and have got a bit stuck...

I have 2 7770s in Crossfire and got a modest stable overclock out of them testing in Heaven benchmark. When I try and play The Witcher 2 the game crashes seconds in, either freezing or going to a black screen forcing a hard reset. I've been lowering the clocks and retrying in game but it keeps happening, I thought the benchmark was supposed to be testing the setup more than games, but maybe I'm wrong?

The rest of the system is

MSI Z87-G43
G-Skill 8GB 2133Mhz
Corsair HX750

Is there a better stability test I should be using?

Edit: Now The Witcher crashes at stock clocks too ... That's a bit strange. Restarted the PC, loaded afterburner but didn't load any profile or change any settings and it crashed. Hasn't done that in the past.

1080p in game and in Heaven.

I've used system restore to revert to before I overclocked, and the AMD catalyst centre has just reinstalled itself without any prompting from me. I'll have a nose about and see if it's got better.

Well, stability seems to be sorted now at stock, but for some reason Crossfire has been disabled in The Witcher and I can't seem to get it to work. Arma 3 is working fine.

This I think The Witcher has problems with Crossfire, reading the forums there seems to be quite afew people having problems. But I'm not sure how I managed to enable it before..
