Tried a few games of Fortnite. It feels a bit sluggish to me. I definitely need to up the controller sensitivity maybe that will help. Would OC have made sure the BIOS is setup for optimised gaming?
you can check whether expo is enabled. what do you mean by sluggish...what settings/res are you playing at and what fps/latency are you getting? I take it you have the adrenaline software downloaded and can enable that to show as an overlay. My son always thought fortnite was janky on pc. it can be prone to microstutters etc. he preferred play that on xsxTried a few games of Fortnite. It feels a bit sluggish to me. Played Fortnite with Adrenalin installed. That reported 105.5 fps, when the game first started with Adrenalin there was some rippling effect but I think performance improved, does that software auto tune?you can check whether expo is enabled. what do you mean by sluggish...what settings/res are you playing at and what fps/latency are you getting? no, but the textures load into the vram of the gpu etc, so once in there, game shouldn't need to reload them etc so gameplay should improve..one reason you want a card with more vram...8gb cards when run out of vram start slowing down and loosing textures in gamePlayed Fortnite with Adrenalin installed. Adrenaline is the AMD software that controls everything..haven't actually looked in awhileon mine..maybe if set to auto it might change settings to run better...there should be a performance tab on there somewhere (sorry at work atm)..you can also undervolt gpu while giving it more power and also change the memory clocks...eek out some more performance, if you like doing that...while away the time altering setting and then doing something like timespy to see how performance changesIt offered me Adrenaline but I didn't know what that was. I will install it.
Thanks I’m embarrassed to say I think I did something stupid but have recovered it and it’s working well now. I will watch tha video, cheersDid you get back into Windows?
If you did, this video may help you with AMD Adrenalin.
They are very busy as I get free next day delivery and it's changed to 3-5days due to Xmas.
Think most of us have done stupid things in the past, it's how we learn. Thanks I’m embarrassed to say I think I did something stupid but have recovered it and it’s working well now. I will watch tha video, cheers
