First overclock advice

Just set up my new PC and stressing it at stock. Have an E4300, Asus p5k-vm and NT06-lite in a SG01 so obviously not made for overclocking but think I can push it a it.

Currently my temps are 44 idld and 60 load. What temps can I safely go to and what temps are too much?
 
Hi there, first of all, are you using the stock cooler? If so, swap that out before you even think about overclocking! lol I use the Freezer 7 Pro on my Conroe. Give it a try.

Personally, I like to try and keep my temps no higher than 60 load, which is why a better cooler is needed. You can go higher than that, but a lot of people wouldn't, just to be on the safe side :)
