Right guys had my first attempt at overclocking
Im building a new system just after xmas, so i thought thought i would try and overclock this system
specs
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ newcastle 2.0GHz
MSI K8T Neo
1.5Gig of ram (some cheap pc3200 stuff 3x512)
standard stock air cooling
i managed to raise the fsb to 230 and got 2.3Ghz idle temp 31ish under load about 47ish
i didnt alter vcore or alter the memory just simply raised the fsb in the bios.
Do you guys think i could push this further or not.
the only thing when i ran prime95 it said my cpu temp was 121 but core temp was reading about 45
